There are many special people who touch our lives, but one in particular seems to stand out — Mom.

With all the triumphs and successes, tears and setbacks of life, Mom is always there to listen, pick up the pieces and lend a helping hand.

It’s Mother’s Day this weekend (May 9), and I just want to give a big shout out to my mom, Kathy Schweigert, for everything she does and everything she is. I love you, Mom, and happy Mother’s Day!
