A Monday morning walk turned into an adventure to remember for employees of Camp Bow Wow in Fort Collins, Colo.

Buggs, a black Labrador mix, was on a walk when he escaped from his owner’s roommate and couldn’t be caught. He ran free around Horsetooth Road and College Avenue.

After hearing a big commotion near Camp Bow Wow, an employee discovered Buggs on the outside of the play areas wanting in. The employee recognized Buggs immediately and let him in the gate, where he began playing and romping with his friends like it was just another day at camp.

Buggs traveled just less than a mile and was completely unaware he was one day early for his check in. The roommate and owner were happy Buggs was safe and sound with his friends.

The Labrador mix pulls his owner through the door every time he visits camp and starts playing immediately with the other dogs in the play area. No one knew exactly how much Buggs loved camp until he chose to run “home” to camp!

You gotta love how much the dogs love camp. I can’t get enough of seeing them lose their minds when they come in the door!

Have a Dog Gone Great Day!
