EASTER
March 20 – Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. at Lippold Park Soccer Fields (southeast end of Lippold Park)
Rain date is March 27. Cost is $2 a child paid at the hunt. To help ensure a safe and happy event, children will be separated into smaller groups (ages 2-3, ages 4-5, ages 6-7, ages, 8-9). Baskets from home are welcome, and there also will be bags available. Volunteers from the Crystal Lake Jaycees will staff the Easter egg hunt. The event will take place at the soccer fields located at the South East end of Lippold Park. In the case of bad weather, check the status of the event by calling the Park District weather information hotline at 815-459-PARK (7275). March 20 – Breakfast with the Bunny, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Cary Park District Community Center
Hop on over to have breakfast with the Bunny! Children will enjoy bunches of bunny activities and a visit with the special guest. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, and milk or juice. March 27 – Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. at the Golf Club of Illinois, 1575 Edgewood Drive in Algonquin
Grab your best basket and meet the Bunny for the Village of Algonquin’s third annual Egg Hunt! The Egg Hunt is open to Algonquin residents and is free. There will be 10,000 eggs for participants to pick up. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. To ensure safety, participants will be grouped by age (0-3, 4-6, 7-10 and 11 and older) around the driving range. There will be no preregistration for the Egg Hunt. The hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. For more information, call the village at 847-658-2700.
April 3 – Lunch with the Bunny, 11 a.m. at Old Towne Hall, 54 Brink Street in Crystal Lake
Hop on down to Crystal Lake and enjoy Lunch with the Bunny! Children can eat lunch with the Easter Bunny, and there also will be music, games, photos, gifts and more.
